Herbal Love Shop now integrated onto Amazon.com via XML feeds

Bloged in E-Commerce, Amazon.com Integration by blog Tuesday May 1, 2007

Sage is pleased to announce the Amazon.com XML feed integration project for Herbal Love Shop is complete. With this implementation, Herbal Love Shop no longer needs to rely on Amazon’s Seller Central interface to manually upload product data, edit listings, check for orders, download order details and post shipping details for completed orders. All product and order processes now run automatically, integrating with the HLS SQL Server-based order processing system.

The system was developed using custom written COM components to create and parse the XML to Amazon XSD standard and perform all data validation - ensuring clean XML exports to Amazon.com’s listing system. Supporting the processing are ASP and Windows Scripting Host scripts (.vbs) files which manage the reads and writes to the SQL Server database.

Herbal Love Shop joins the growing list of Sage clients who have made the move from manual Seller Central processing, to automated XML feeds, including Something Silver, Bike Parts USA and Goto Auto Accessories.
